  • Where can I park?

Parking is available to their greenhouse/farm.

  • What should I bring/wear?

Participants should wear comfortable clothes and shoes that they wouldn’t mind getting dirty, a hat, and sunscreen; and bring a filled reusable water bottle and bug spray.

Volunteers will be provided gloves, tools, and water.

  • What if it rains?

This is a rain or shine event. In the case of inclement weather, the workday will resume the following day, Fri. April 12, 12:30-3pm.

Learn More About The Bulb

Produce to the People!

At The Bulb, our mission is to provide mostly local produce, as well as education on health and wellness, to food insecure communities. Together with local farms, grocery stores and community organizers, we are working to create a world where fresh and nutritious food is a right and not a privilege, while seeking social justice through affordable and attainable education and wellness.

Engagement Opportunities:

Volunteer opportunities are available Monday-Friday during the morning and afternoons. Our markets operate Tuesday-Friday, food sorting operates Monday-Friday, drop offs operate Tuesday-Thursday, and our farm operates Wednesday-Friday. Ask about ways to get involved during your volunteer project!
