Creek & Park Cleanup
April 10th, 12:30-3pm
Afterparty, 3-4pm

Register here by March 31st!
  • What will I be doing?

  • Where do I go?

  • Where can I park?

There is parking available in the small lot off of Liberty St, but we strongly recommend folks carpool where possible. The address for the park may lead people to Eva Street (it’s a problem we often have at this location), but the parking and meeting space is at the parking lot on Liberty Street, NOT Eva St.

  • What should I bring/wear?

Participants should bring a reusable water bottle, hat, and sunscreen.

  • What will be provided by the host?

Gloves, tools, water, and tent for shade.

  • What if it rains?

This is a rain or shine event. In the case of inclement weather, the workday will resume on Fri. April 12, 12:30-3pm.

  • Any more questions?

Contact your team representative for any questions leading up to the event.
For day-of questions, please contact Dawn Keyser. Email: dawn@keepdurhambeautiful.org | Day-Of Phone: (910) 315-4346

Learn More About Keep Durham Beautiful

Engaging and inspiring individuals to take greater responsibility for their community environment.

Since 2004, Keep Durham Beautiful (KDB) has united with communities and businesses to be stewards of Durham by removing thousands of pounds of waste, planting trees and community gardens, and bringing people together to take care of Durham’s environment.

Engagement Opportunities:

For more engagement opportunities you can adopt a street near you to keep clean, become a Litter Leader or Tree Keeper, organize a cleanup for Creek Week (March) or Big Sweep (October), attend a public volunteer event, read our newsletter, and/or share KDB events on social media. Ask about ways to get involved during your volunteer project!
