  • What will I be doing?

Workgroups commonly assist with projects such as clearing vines and brush from enclosures, building or dismantling fences, digging trenches for drainage, or other light construction tasks. Your exact project will depend on our particular needs at the time, available tools and materials, and progress made by other groups. All members of your group should be prepared for moderately strenuous physical work in a fairly rustic, natural, outdoor environment.

  • Where do I go?

1940 Hanks Chapel Rd., Pittsboro, NC 27312

  • Where can I park?

Please park in the visitors’ lot!

  • What should I bring/wear?

Participants should wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. They should bring their own gloves, sunscreen(recommended), and reusable water bottle.

  • What will be provided by the host?

Carolina Tiger Rescue will provide gloves, bug spray, sunscreen, and tools.

  • Any special considerations?

We are similar to an old farm, people must wear long pants and long sleeves are not a bad idea. Closed toe shoes are a must.

  • What if it rains?

This is a rain or shine event. In the case of inclement weather, the project will resume the following day, Fri. April 12th, 12:30-3:00pm.

  • Any more questions?

Contact your team representative for any questions leading up to the event.
